Declaration of Certification Practices (DCP)

The declaration of certification practices of the OMC Certification Entity is a mandatory document foreseen in article 19 of Law 59/2003, of 19 December, on electronic signature, which defines the practices applied for issuing Certificates. The following contents are detailed in the DCP of the OMC Certification Entity:

The obligations of the certification services provider with regard to the management of the data for creating and verifying the certificates.

The conditions which rule the validity of the certificate in the application, generation, use, renewal and cancellation procedure.

The organisation's technical and physical security measures.
